Recently I've been working on my second piece of abstract art. I'm aiming to do this piece totally different from the first piece I did. I have painted the background of the canvas a soft blue with acrylic paint. I plan to make further splotches of color towards the center of the canvas. I will be working on this piece some this weekend and some next week. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

I am finished with my first piece!!!! I used oil pastels to mix the different colors. This piece of abstract art is a mixture of different colors swirled around one center point. I love all of the colors that make this piece seem so happy!

I started working on my first abstract piece on Wednesday. I am using oil pastel on canvas. The piece consists of a combination of different colors. All of the colors in the piece swirl around a fixed point in the center. I've finished about half of this first piece. I plan to work on it more this weekend and hopefully finish it.
